New Genetic Fasciolatus Eye Pigment

Hey guys! Sorry it has been so long since my last blog post. In 2014 we proved out our first new genetic eye pigment gene from pure Fasciolatus. Now we have a good breeding pool and a couple outcrosses to work with this year and next. Pictured is a pure Gem Snow Fasciolatus with the new eye pigment gene. We are letting the pure Fasciolatus pair rest this year and will hopefully bring them back in 2018, they are quite old now and can't breed every year.
